Some of the pictures shows the shade of blue as this really pretty deep almost royal blue color, but when I got it in person, it’s definitely a dark navy blue. Almost black it’s so dark. But navy navy. Still cute of course, just not the shade it looked like in some of the photos.

So soft! Love the Harvey colour! My only suggestion is if you think you’re going to have a bigger baby to maybe size up. My son was almost ten lbs! so he likely won’t fit the 0-3 month size for long. They are quite snug on his arms so not as easy to get on and off as I would have thought. But the knot design is good for quick diaper changes through the the day or night.

We LOVE our LouLou knitted gown, hat, and swaddles. We have three sets and they are amazing. The gowns are the easiest way to change a diaper in the middle of the night. I really love the softness and fit of this gown. I loved the idea of gowns for newborns for easy diaper changes, but I had only had gowns with elastic bottoms before and they were not easy to use. The knotted gown is perfect. It is long enough to tie and still give him room to kick his legs and soft and thin enough to pull up during diaper changes. I think it keeps him warm as well even though it isn't thick.
After this Harvey gown I purchased a Sam sweater gown and was disappointed in the stitching. There was a big bunch of extra string at the button seam and then I flipped the sleeve over his hand and there was a hole where the seam wasn't stitched correctly. Of course this was after I put it on him and he peed and spit up on it. Next time I will be checking all stitches as soon as it comes out of the box.

1. I swear by gowns, ever since my first child gowns are all the business- especially in the first month or so! I don’t even think the pictures do the Harvey color any justice- it is AMAZINGGGGG! This gown is a really nice dark blue color. This is the first larger size gown I’ve ordered from LLC and I’m really happy with the way the sizing is. I also really like how it has the mitten part on the hands so baby doesn’t scratch themselves. The only thing I would have rather seen is the double stitching by the buttons like some of the older gowns have. I also received this item in the little plastic baggy because they hadn’t phased in the boxes yet, which made the aesthetic of the packaging less than exciting.

Very cute and soft! My 1mo old nephew loves wearing his gown! Very easy to knot the bottom to the baby's liking. In the cold winter months, it's stretchy enough to easily fit another layer underneath if needed. My only compliant is that the buttons can be hard to undo, I'm sure as it's unbuttoned more, it won't be as stiff to get the buttons in.
